Crocodile ramen, anyone? Noodle shop sparks food for thought on social media

A SOUP noodle shop in Yunlin, Taiwan, caused a heated discussion on the Internet for serving a whole crocodile foot in a bowl of ramen, Sin Chew Daily reported.

The matter came to light after the store owner promoted the peculiar ramen on Facebook.

Named Godzilla “crocodile ramen”, the bowl of noodles costs T$1,500 (RM225) with a two or three days’ prior booking required.

Many members of the Facebook group said they found the dish repulsive.

The store owner, however, told reporters that in this Internet age, innovation was needed to offer something different to customers, adding that the crocodile meat “tastes like chicken”.
