Johor Perhilitan to get tough on cross border illegal wildlife trade

JOHOR BARU: The Johor Wildlife and National Parks Department (Perhilitan) is serious in combating cross border illegal wildlife trade following the seizure of 11 parrots from Singapore at Bangunan Sultan Iskandar (BSI) Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) Complex.

Its director Aminuddin Jamin (pic) said they were notified about the discovery following information from the Customs Department at around 7.30pm on May 31.
