More than RM40mil to build and repair homes

TELUK INTAN: The Local Government Development Ministry has allocated RM42.26mil to build new houses and carry out repairs on homes in urban areas this year, says its minister Nga Kor Ming.

He said of the total amount, RM40.26mil has been set aside for house repair work that will benefit 2,534 households from the B40 group and the hardcore poor, while the remaining RM2mil was for the construction of new houses.
