PETALING JAYA: The government should continue working closely with all stakeholders to strengthen efforts in combating human trafficking issues, including overseas job scams by organised crime syndicates in the region, says MCA.

The party’s International Communication and Diplomacy Bureau deputy chairman Neo Choo Seong said Malaysia has shown several significant efforts in combating human trafficking and migrant smuggling crimes through the Council for Anti-Trafficking in Persons and Anti-Smuggling of Migrants, with greater enforcement and implementation of the Anti-Trafficking in Persons and Anti-Smuggling of Migrants Act.
