Kiulu farmstay shows the way to sustainable tourism

KOTA KINABALU: Villagers in the rural Kiulu area, some 60km from here, can finally call themselves proud owners of a community-based tourism project.

After eight years of being guided by Borneo Eco Tours, the Kiulu Farmstay has now transitioned from the private tour company management to the capable hands of the local communities.
