Restricted tenders allowed for urgent projects, Anwar tells Dewan Rakyat

KUALA LUMPUR: Stating his opposition to direct negotiations, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the government has introduced restricted tender negotiations for certain projects.

“I strongly oppose the practice of direct negotiations as it cannot be monitored as it only involves dealings between the individual and the company,” he said during Prime Minister's Question Time in the Dewan Rakyat on Tuesday (June 13).
