State polls: Perikatan to finalise seat distribution on June 5, says Sanusi

KUALA SELANGOR: Perikatan Nasional will finalise the seat distribution for the impending polls in six states today (June 5), said its election director Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor (pic).

He reportedly said earlier that the matter would be completed by Sunday (June 4).

When asked what time the seat distribution would be decided, he said, “By 5pm.”

When pressed further on where it would be announced, he said, “Publika,” referring to Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia’s headquarters at Publika in Kuala Lumpur.

Earlier, Muhammad Sanusi, who is also Kedah Mentri Besar, was the guest of honour at Perikatan’s maiden mega ceramah in Tanjong Karang, which was attended by over 2,000 people and dubbed the launch of the “green wave” in Selangor.

Also present were other Perikatan leaders, such as the Selangor Perikatan chairman Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali, former six-term Tanjong Karang MP Tan Sri Noh Omar and Arau MP Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim.
