KUALA LUMPUR: The Star’s senior editor Rozaid Abdul Rahman (pic) has been appointed as Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s media and strategic communications director with immediate effect.

The 58-year-old clocked in for work at the Prime Minister’s Office in Putrajaya yesterday morning, replacing Datuk Wan Nurzila Wan Abd Rahman, whose service ended earlier this month.

He was also group editor of Sinar Harian.

He started his career in the media as a cadet reporter for Utusan Malaysia in April 1984.
