Cops seize over RM2mil worth of drugs

SUBANG JAYA: Drugs worth over RM2mil were seized during raids on several apartments at a building in Bandar Bukit Puchong on May 16.

Subang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said the first suspect was caught near the apartment lift, who then led police to a unit on the seventh floor where hundreds of pills believed to be Erimin 5, Ecstasy and Yaba pills were found.

Police also seized 26 packets of a substance believed to be syabu, weighing around 27kg.

The suspect led the officers to another unit on the 13th floor where eight packets were found, believed to contain ketamine, 71g of Erimin 5 pills and 18g of syabu.

Two more suspects were also arrested. Drugs worth RM2,471,797 and other items worth RM375,550 were seized.
