The Star’s senior editor appointed PM’s media, strategic comms director


KUALA LUMPUR: The Star’s senior editor Rozaid Abdul Rahman has been appointed as Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's media and strategic communications director with immediate effect.

The 58-year-old clocked in for work at the Prime Minister's Office in Putrajaya on Tuesday (May 23) morning, replacing Datuk Wan Nurzila Wan Abd Rahman, whose service ended earlier this month.

Rozaid has held positions in The Star, with his last position group consulting editor.

He was also group editor of Sinar Harian.

He started his career in the media as a cadet reporter for Utusan Malaysia in April 1984.
