PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong (pic) joined in the Hari Raya celebration of the Ayer Hitam constituents organised by the Semarang assemblyman and Ayer Hitam Umno.
"Although it is the tailend of Syawal, I feel happy to see people of all races enjoying the delicacies at the event, the pride and strength of the Ayer Hitam folk," said the MCA president in a Facebook post on Sunday (May 21).
Johor state assembly deputy speaker Datuk Samsolbari Jamali, who is Semarang assemblyman, was seen busy entertaining the guests.
Also present were Johor health and unity committee chairman and Yong Peng assemblyman Ling Tian Soon, Johor investment, trade and consumer affairs committee chairman and Paloh assemblyman Lee Ting Han, Permas Jaya assemblyman Baharudin Mohamed Taib, Batu Pahat Muncipal Council president, MCA and MIC party leaders and representatives of local non-governmental organisations.
