KUALA LUMPUR: The government’s initiative in offering affordable flight tickets in conjunction with the Kaamatan Festival and Hari Gawai has come as a relief for the people of Sabah and Sarawak in the peninsula.

Since the lifting of travel restrictions, it has been a common phenomenon for airfares to skyrocket especially during festive seasons, making people forgo the idea of returning home to be with their families.
