Statement claiming Hadi has enough support to become PM is fake, says Takiyuddin

PETALING JAYA: A statement claiming that PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang has gained enough support to become prime minister is fake, says party secretary-general Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan.

"The statement going viral is false and has nothing to do with any of the parties mentioned," he said in a Facebook post on Thursday (May 4).

The statement claims that 115 MPs have given their written support for Abdul Hadi to become prime minister.
