Fisherman caught red-handed in prohibited zone

KOTA KINABALU: A local fisherman has been detained after he was found catching fish in prohibited waters off Sabah’s east coast in the Sandakan district.

By the time the marine police roped him in, the 62-year-old had already caught some 200kg of fish and prawns on Monday.
