Nine held over diesel theft


ALOR SETAR: Nine men were arrested with 135,760 litres of diesel, valued at RM291,884 and believed to be misappropriated, seized in a raid at the Bukit Kayu Hitam Industrial Area.

Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry secretary-general Datuk Azman Mohd Yusof said those arrested in the 1pm raid by the police on Friday comprised three Malaysians and six Thai nationals, who are in their 20s and 50s.
