Annuar Musa to announce which party he will join soon

PETALING JAYA: Tan Sri Annuar Musa says that he will announce which political party he will be joining in a few days' time.

"I will choose to join a political party which I believe is good and heading in the right direction. For now, let us enjoy the Raya celebration" the Muafakat Nasional president told Sinar Harian at the Kelantan PAS Aidilfitri Open House on Saturday (April 29).

Annuar also said he was at the open house at the invitation of the Kelantan state government.

"We are all friends and should enjoy Raya together. It is not my first time attending a PAS open house as I attended one last year in Pengkalan Chepa," said Annuar, adding he had attended many Aidilfitri open houses, including the one by Ketereh MP Datuk Khlir Mohd Nor on Friday (April 28).

Annuar was Ketereh MP for three terms from 2008 to 2018.

He also said he had never retired from politics and was only taking a break for a few months.

"I have taken the time to focus on personal matters and chose to keep quiet. I did not retire and will continue being active in politics," he said.

When asked if he had been invited to the Madani Open House in Kelantan with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on May 12, he said he had not but would gladly attend if invited in the future.
