SOME five years after the Goods and Services Tax (GST) was scrapped, about 26,000 companies and business entities have yet to settle RM2.1bil in arrears, reported Utusan Malaysia.
Customs director-general Datuk Zazuli Johan said it had taken various approaches and strategies to get the companies to pay the taxes.
