Sandakan retiree stunned by RM20,000 water bill

KOTA KINABALU: An elderly man in Sabah's east coast Sandakan district was shocked when he received an water bill for over RM20,000 – which was later attributed to an error.

Government retiree Chin Tong Lang said his monthly water bill was typically between RM7 and RM30 but the November bill from the Sandakan Water Department was a staggering RM22,528.
