Rural community leaders must be ICT-savvy, says Bangkuai

KOTA KINABALU: Grassroots and community leaders have been urged to have a firm grasp of information and communication technology (ICT) in order to avoid falling behind and missing out on the benefits of the digital age.

Kiulu assemblyman Datuk Joniston Bangkuai, whose state constituency mostly comprised people living in rural communities, said technology plays an ever-growing role in modern society.
