PETALING JAYA: With a good harvest turning out to be a quandary for vegetable farmers – they can’t sell their produce or give it away – the government will look into a mechanism that will be good for consumers and growers.
An oversupply due to the good weather coupled with a lack of demand has led to the dumping of vegetables, and the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry has decided to step in.
