Looking at AI and drones to keep borders safe

BUKIT KAYU HITAM: The Home Ministry is exploring the possibility of using technology, including artificial intelligence and drones, to aid uniformed bodies on duty along the country’s borders.

Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said the government lacks the resources to build new fencing along the border between Malaysia and Thailand, especially in Kedah and Perlis, due to the long distance involved.
