KOTA KINABALU: Community-based rural tourism operators should consider participating in cooperatives to broaden their revenue, says Datuk Joniston Bangkuai.
The state Assistant Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister said tourism-focused rural communities should take advantage of cooperatives, which will allow them to engage in a variety of commercial ventures.
