Kota Tinggi OCPD Supt Hussin Zamora said a joint operation was conducted by the police together with the Immigration Department and the Welfare Department on Sunday (April 16) between 2pm and 4pm.

“During the operation, we detained two local men and four illegal immigrants, including two male toddlers, aged three, and one female child, aged one,” he said in a statement here.

All those detained were aged between one and 66.

The locals were handed over to the Welfare Department for documentation purposes, while the illegal immigrants were handed over to Immigration for further action.
