SINGER Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza’s latest soundtrack for the film Anwar: The Untold Story is a tribute to Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail’s loyalty and love for her husband.

Siti told Sinar Harian that the song titled Menjaga Cintamu is an ode to women who are loyal to their husbands and make great sacrifices for their well-being.

“I accepted the offer to sing the song because I am confident many women can relate to it.

“I felt quite nervous recording it in the studio because it was my first experience working with Indonesian composer Andi Rianto, but I am glad to say we only took an hour to finish the session,” she said.

Siti said she recorded the song with Andi at Cranky Music Studio in Malaysia, owned by music composer Aubrey Suwito.

> Remy Ishak thinks it’s great that his co-star Puteri Sarah Liyana has kept working on the set of Hijrah Jannah although she is having problems in her marriage to famous director Syamsul Yusof.

Remy told Berita Harian he sympathised with Puteri Sarah as she would sometimes have to go to court after a shooting session.

“Everyone has their own problems, so I understand and would try to give her space to settle it on her own.

“There are times she appears sad and quiet on set, so we would try to console her and make her feel better,” he said.
