LBS Foundation donates RM500,000 to help earthquakes victims in Turkey and Syria

LBS Foundation Board of Trustees Tan Sri Lim Hock San (right) handed over the cheque to Foreign Ministry secretary general Datuk Seri Amran Mohamed Zin, witnessed by Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir, at China World Hotel, Beijing.

PETALING JAYA: LBS Foundation (LBSF), the philanthropic arm of LBS Bina Group Bhd, has extended a helping hand to the victims of the recent earthquakes in Turkey and Syria by donating RM500,000.

The earthquake that struck the eastern Turkish province of Van on Feb 28 with a magnitude of 7.2 on the Richter scale, has caused extensive damage, loss of life, and rendered many people homeless.
