Axe-wielding burglar knocks out guard, robs phone shop in Teluk Intan


IPOH: A security guard suffered a minor head injury after being hit by an axe-wielding burglar who broke into a telecommunications shop near the iconic Teluk Intan leaning clock tower.

Hilir Perak OCPD Asst Comm Ahmad Adnan Basri said the security guard, in his 60’s, was hit by the robber with an axe, tied up and locked in a toilet at about 3am on Monday (April 3).
