KUALA LUMPUR: Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh made a second appearance on Berita Perdana's "Stadium RTM (Radio Televisyen Malaysia)" segment on Sunday (April 2).
She delivered news, wearing a yellow jacket over a white top.
Yeoh spoke about the ministry's Road to Gold (RTG) project, which aims to help Malaysia realise the Olympic dream.
She also praised the ZK Racing Team for their unprecedented success at the recent Red Bull Rookies Cup in Portugal.
Hakim Danish Ramli, 16, claimed a third-place podium finish in the championship.
Yeoh also touched on the resurfacing of the Bukit Jalil national stadium, which is expected to be completed by October this year.
On Saturday (April 1), Yeoh was given the honour to make an exclusive appearance on the inaugural edition of Berita Perdana's "Stadium RTM”, fulfilling her longtime dream of becoming a news reader.
In the roughly five-minute segment, Yeoh, who was seen donning a red blazer, touched on the latest developments in the local and international sports scene, including Malaysia's participation in the SEA Games and the ongoing track pavement project at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC).
Yeoh also covered the recent wins by Harimau Malaya, who defeated Turkmenistan 1-0 and Hong Kong 2-0, in the recent Tier 1 international friendlies.
At the end of the segment, Yeoh took the opportunity to congratulate RTM on its 77th anniversary, reciting the broadcast station's slogan, "Teman Setia Anda (Your Loyal Partner)."
RTM, which currently has six TV channels and 34 radio stations, celebrates its founding anniversary on April 1 every year.
Yeoh had uploaded a photo on Instagram of herself alongside with other RTM news anchors with the caption "bucket list".
"Thank you @RTMnews for putting your confidence in me as the first presenter for this (Stadium RTM) segment," she had said in a separate Instagram post on Thursday (March 30).
