Bomba captures 7m-long python caught in drain near Sekinchan mosque


PETALING JAYA: A 7m-long python has been captured in a drain near a mosque in Sekinchan.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Morni Mamat said they received a distress call at 10.38pm on Thursday (March 30).

"A total of 11 firemen were dispatched to the scene. The snake was captured without much incident, using appropriate equipment" he said when contacted on Friday (March 31).

No one was hurt during the incident, he added.
