S'pore president’s visit from Monday adds to the positive momentum in bilateral ties


In a Facebook post on Monday, Singapore President Halimah Yacob highlighted the recent spate of rapes involving children in their own homes by relatives, calling it “disturbing and sickening”

SINGAPORE: Singapore President Halimah Yacob’s (pic) three-day state visit to Malaysia from Monday (March 20) will strengthen bilateral ties between the two neighbouring states which have a rich shared history and a close interdependence.

Halimah’s visit at the invitation of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah reaffirms both countries’ longstanding partnership at the highest level.
