PKR Special National Congress gets off to a rockin' start


SHAH ALAM: The PKR Special National Congress started on Saturday (March 18) with a strong turnout.

This will be the first time party president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim Ibrahim will address his party members after becoming the nation's 10th prime minister.

Veteran rocker Datuk Nash a.k.a Datuk Nashrudin Elias started the morning by belting two numbers much to the delight of those attending the event.

Anwar also flagged off PKR Youth wing's service mission for flood victims in Johor.

Also at the congress were DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke, Amanah vice-president Datuk Seri Mujahid Yusuf Rawa, Upko's Wilfred Madius Tangau and 41 representatives from the various foreign missions.
