M40 group will also benefit from Payung Rahmah initiative, says Salahuddin

BANGI: Jualan Rahmah that comes under the Payung Rahmah initiative has been extended here to provide household items and branded international kitchenware at discounted prices.

Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub said this was another move in reaching out to the people.

"Through this, even the M40 will be able to enjoy buying items (at low prices) until May 31," he said after launching the initiative at SZBLOOMS at Enigma Bangi on Friday (March 17).

He added that after almost a month of touring nationwide, the Payung Rahmah initiative and concept is getting more acceptance by the people, and the ministry would like everyone to benefit from it.

"Through this initiative, we are able to see how small and medium enterprises (SMEs) continue to march ahead. We will continue to give support to them as it will help to spur the domestic economy," he said.
