SHAH ALAM: Bersatu has lodged a police report against Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, claiming that they had defamed party president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

When contacted, Shah Alam OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim confirmed that a report was made at 10.28am on Friday (March 17).

"Checks show that as of now 47 reports have been filed nationwide on this," he said.

Earlier Friday, Selangor Bersatu chairman Datuk Abdul Rashid Ansari also filed a report against the Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister at the Shah Alam police headquarters.

He claimed that Anwar had accused Muhyiddin Yassin of misappropriating RM600bil of government monies but the figure was changed to RM300mil.
