MPV caught driving on bike lane along Federal Highway

PETALING JAYA: Police are looking for the driver of a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) that was seen driving on the motorcycle lane along the Federal Highway.

Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid said police were notified of the incident after a video showing the incident was uploaded to WhatsApp.

In the 25-second video, an MPV was seen being driven along the motorcycle lane near Amcorp Mall.

"Police are investigating the incident that occurred on March 4," he said in a statement Sunday (March 5).

It is known that the police are still in the midst of tracking down the driver.

Those with information on the incident are urged to contact traffic investigations officer Insp Mohd Hafeez Faesal A Aziz at 011-3231 1232 or the nearest police station.
