Education Ministry reschedules SPM exams from March 16 for candidates affected by floods


KUANTAN: The Education Ministry has rescheduled the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examinations for over 500 flood-affected candidates from March 16, says Fadhlina Sidek.

The Education Minister said they include 450 SPM candidates from Johor and 79 from Pahang, adding that three papers – Economics, Science Physics, and Home Science – were affected.

She also said that some SPM candidates were affected by the rescheduling in Sarawak.

"We had changed the examination dates from March 16 and they may sit for three papers in one day," she said after launching the national-level movement #terimakasihcikgu in Kuantan, Pahang.

Fadhlina will later visit Johor to meet SPM students and teachers affected by the floods.
