Cops looking for ex-real estate agent after failing to attend court sentencing


KUALA LUMPUR: Police are looking for a former real estate agent after he failed to attend his court sentencing.

In a statement on Monday (Feb 27), Bukit Aman Corporate Communications head Asst Comm Skandaguru Anandan said that Soo Seng Chee, aged 64, was currently wanted by the police following an arrest warrant issued on Feb 10 after he failed to present himself at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court.

He was charged on Sept 15, 2022 with cheating over a housing investment worth RM620,000. Soo pleaded not guilty to the charge.
