Covid-19 Watch: 229 new cases bring total to 5,041,587

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 229 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday (Feb 22), says the Health Ministry.

According to the ministry's KKMNow portal, all of the new Covid-19 infections in the country were local transmissions, while there were no imported cases.

This brings the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 5,041,587 cases since the pandemic began.

No deaths were recorded on Wednesday.
