Johor to fill 42 village chief vacancies by May, says exco member

ISKANDAR PUTERI: The Johor government will appoint 42 more village chiefs before May to help smooth administration in the state, says exco member Datuk Zahari Sarip.

The state agriculture, agro-based industry and rural development committee chairman added that currently, there are 625 serving village chiefs out of 667 posts in total.
