Joy and sadness: Bornean conservation centre releases sun bear Sika into the wild

KOTA KINABALU: Dr Wong Siew Te and his team at the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre (BSBCC) has helped release 12 sun bears back into the wild over the past eight years.

But despite their past experiences, nothing could ever prepare the renowned local sun bear conservationist and his passionate colleagues each time when it was finally time to let go of their furry friends.
