US Ambassador wishes Happy Thaipusam to Malaysians


PETALING JAYA: US Ambassador to Malaysia Brian McFeeters is wishing a Happy Thaipusam to all Malaysians.

In a short video uploaded on US Embassy Kuala Lumpur's Instagram page on Sunday (Feb 5), McFeeters is seen standing in front of the steps leading to the iconic Batu Caves as he wishes all Malaysians a Happy Thaipusam.

In the video, huge crowds are seen around him on the steps leading up to the most famed Hindu temple in Malaysia.

Over 300,000 people visited the shrine in conjunction with the Hindu festival on Sunday (Feb 5), according to acting Selangor police chief Deputy Comm Datuk S. Sasikala Devi.
