MMEA starts SAR ops for elderly man who fell off Tanjung Sepat Jetty

PORT KLANG: The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) has activated a search and rescue operation for an elderly man who fell off the Tanjung Sepat Jetty.

Selangor MMEA director Maritime Captain Siva Kumar Vengadasalam said the search and rescue operation which started on Saturday (Jan 21) was being coordinated by the Johor Baru Maritime Rescue Sub-Centre (MRSC) with assistance from the Fire and Rescue Department as well as the Civil Defence Force and the local fishing community.
