Johor Customs Dept nabs smuggled cigarettes, alcohol worth RM3.14mil

JOHOR BARU: Some RM3.12mil worth of contraband cigarettes and alcoholic beverages have been seized by the state Customs Department in raids around Johor Baru, Segamat and Pasir Gudang.

Johor Customs Department director Misbahudin Parmin said that the first raid was on Nov 30 last year, when three containers filled with untaxed beer were found at the Pasir Gudang port.
