No compromise in probe into slapping incident, says Education Minister


PETALING JAYA: The Education Ministry will not compromise and will fully cooperate with the authorities in probing a viral video of a volleyball coach slapping a teen player at an Under-14 volleyball championship.

Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek (pic) said an investigation will be launched into the incident.

"The Education Ministry calls on all witnesses to the incident to come forward and help in the probe," she said in a tweet Sunday (Jan 1).

She also said the ministry's determination to create Safe Schools for students will always be a priority.
