Johor Ruler grants audience to Anwar

JOHOR BARU: Johor’s Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar has granted an audience to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at Istana Bukit Serene here.

The Prime Minister arrived at the palace at about 10.30am on Friday (Dec 30).

Earlier, he arrived at the Senai International Airport at about 10am and was greeted by Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi.

Anwar is expected to perform Friday prayers at Masjid Kampung Melayu Majidee later.

This is the Prime Minister's first official working visit to Johor after assuming the role on Nov 24.
