Tree pruning needed in Sandakan to avoid untoward incidents, says assemblyman

KOTA KINABALU: Local authorities in the Sandakan district have been urged to prune trees in the town area to reduce the risk of falling branches.

The reminder was issued by Tanjong Papat assemblyman Datuk Frankie Poon after large branches that broke off from a tree were found on the road in front of the Sandakan Chinese Chamber of Commerce Hall in Bandar Sandakan on Friday (Dec 23).
