KUALA LUMPUR: The Dewan Rakyat observed a moment of silence for the victims of the Dec 16 Batang Kali disaster.

In expressing condolences to the victims’ next of kin, newly-appointed Dewan Rakyat Speaker Datuk Johari Abdul asked MPs to say a prayer and observe a minute of silence for those who perished.
