Villager spots large croc on flooded Pahang road

KUANTAN: Residents of Kampung Seri Damai are alarmed by the presence of large crocodile spotted on a flooded road here on Monday (Dec 12).

The large reptile was filmed on the road by a villager, footage of which went viral on social media.

The 29-second video was uploaded by Pulau Manis assemblyman Mohammad Rafiq Khan Ahmad Khan on his Facebook account and the video has been viewed over 3,000 times.

"We already knew that the area is a crocodile habitat. Every time it rains and the river overflows, crocodiles start roaming about.

"This is the first time they managed to record it," he said when contacted on Tuesday (Dec 13).

He also advised parents to ensure their children do not play around the area to prevent any untoward incidents.
