Confidence motion will allow PM to lead with clear mandate

PUTRAJAYA: The confidence motion which will be tabled later this month is to allow the Prime Minister to lead the country with a clear mandate based on the majority support of MPs, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

He also said he had a clear mandate to lead and it was clarified during his recent audience with Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.
