SEREMBAN: The Fire and Rescue Department rescued 45 people comprising students and staff who were trapped in the GiatMARA building due to floods in Jalan Pantai, near Empangan Terip, on Thursday (Dec 8) evening.

Seremban Fire and Rescue station chief Mohammad Idris said the heavy rain since 3pm today had caused a 0.6m-high flood in the area.

Meanwhile, Mohammad said a flash flood happened in Kampung Mayor near here involving 12 people from one family.
