Anwar receives courtesy calls from Warisan, GRS


PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has received a courtesy visit from Warisan president Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal.

In a Facebook post, Anwar said Shafie visited him at his office on Sunday (Nov 27) evening.

"I welcome his commitment and the commitment of his party in supporting the formation of and stabilising a unity government for the best interests of Sabahans," he said.

Anwar said he also received a courtesy visit from Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor and the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) delegation on the same day.

"Hajiji Noor and GRS have given their full support to the Unity Government led by me, and I certainly welcome and appreciate that support for the sake of the state government and the well-being of the people of Sabah," he said.
