Poser over Pahang state govt after Tuan Ibrahim posts photo with state BN chairman

PETALING JAYA: PAS deputy president Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man sharing a photo with Pahang Barisan Nasional chairman Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail has raised eyebrows if a new Pahang government with both coalitions has been formed.

In a Facebook post,Tuan Ibrahim - who is spearheading discussions to form the government in Pahang - said "doakan kebaikan untuk negeri Pahang, insya Allah (Pray for the wellbeing of Pahang, God willing)".

Also spotted in the picture were PAS vice-president Datuk Seri Idris Ahmad and Pahang Kerdau assemblyman Datuk Seri Syed Ibrahim Syed Ahmad.

Pahang Perikatan Nasional chairman Datuk Seri Saifuddin Abdullah said on Tuesday that the coalition had entered into discussion with Barisan to form the new Pahang government.

The latest developments come as a surprise because it was reported that Pakatan Harapan was working with Barisan to form a government.

Wan Rosdy held separate talks with both Tuan Ibrahim and Pahang Pakatan chairman Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari over the last 48 hours.

Perikatan won 17 seats, Barisan 16 with Pakatan eight in GE15, with none of the parties obtaining a majority.
